Nell Regan is a poet, non-fiction writer and translator. Her latest collection is Thirty-Six Views of the Sugarloaf (Arlen House, 2026) and she has been a Fellow at the International Writing Programme, Iowa, a Fulbright Scholar at UC Berkeley as well as recipient of a Patrick and Katherine Kavanagh Fellowship and Arts Council Literature Bursaries.
The biography Helena Molony: A Radical Life, 1883 - 1967 (Arlen House) was an 2017 Irish Independent Book of the Year while her poetry has been shortlisted for awards including the Strong First Collection, the Glen Dimplex New Writing and the Vincent Buckley Award.
