Creating in Nature: Bird & Bat Box Building

Practice your carpentry and construction skills building bat and bird boxes whilst learning a little about animal habitats and more.

The Shaking Bog - in partnership with our friends at Fighting Words - presents a special programme of workshops for children of all ages that interweaves art and nature through creative expression and imagination. Special guest artists and nature experts will offer a broad palette of participatory opportunities.

Whether you like composing music, crafts, writing or graphic fiction, critters, carpentry, drumming and storytelling - there will be something for you! If you fancy making a morning out of it, you can join more than one workshop before you join in with the final celebration.
