Nature in Autumn

Nature in Autumn

Broadcaster and ecologist Anja Murray leads a trail that tells the story of Autumn. She will talk about how salmonids prepare for their journey upstream, the bounty of wild fruits and nuts, how leaves change colour, bird migrations and more.

Celebrating the renewed interest in nature that many of us shared during lockdown, The Shaking Bog offers a series of nature trails led by highly specialised experts with varied interests and wide-ranging knowledge.

(AllSunday morning trails begin from outside Knockree Hostel. Please arrive at 15 minutes before departure time. Easy to moderate trails. Suitable footwear essential. Prepare for all weathers. Booking is required.)
