Writing with Fighting Words: Creative Writing Workshop

‍‍Creative Writing Workshop with tutor Pierina Campbell,
10-11.45, Ages 7-10 years

Kids from ages 7-10 can join in this creative adventure as we write some stories about nature and the past. Beginning with a short treasure hunt, we will search for the legendary time capsule that was rumoured to be hidden in Aurora in 1921. Let's use our imaginations to create Glencree 100 years ago!

The Shaking Bog - in partnership with our friends at Fighting Words - presents a special programme of workshops for children of all ages that interweaves art and nature through creative expression and imagination. Special guest artists and nature experts will offer a broad palette of participatory opportunities.

Whether you like composing music, crafts, writing or graphic fiction, critters, carpentry, drumming and storytelling - there will be something for you! If you fancy making a morning out of it, you can join more than one workshop before you join in with the final celebration.
