Writing With Fighting Words: Song Writing Workshop

Song Writing Workshop with musician Colm Quearney,
Ages 10+ to teens

Kids from ages 10+ (and up to teenagers) can join in on a wonderful morning filled with melodies and lyrics with Fighting Words’ musician and song-writer, Colm Quearney. Looking at nature, we can sing all kinds of stories about the beautiful Glencree Valley!

The Shaking Bog - in partnership with our friends at Fighting Words - presents a special programme of workshops for children of all ages that interweaves art and nature through creative expression and imagination. Special guest artists and nature experts will offer a broad palette of participatory opportunities.

Whether you like composing music, crafts, writing or graphic fiction, critters, carpentry, drumming and storytelling - there will be something for you! If you fancy making a morning out of it, you can join more than one workshop before you join in with the final celebration.
